Description
1788 Massachusetts Cent. Ryder 2-B, W-6200. Rarity-4-. Period After MASSACHUSETTS. AU-58 (NGC).
Predominantly chocolate-brown with areas of dark olive toning, mostly on the reverse. A handsome and well defined example of the type, also a noteworthy representative of the die variety, this being the highest graded among the more than twenty specimens of Ryder 2-A found in our auction archives.
