Obverse: Diademed head right; Reverse: Zeus seated left on throne, holding crowning Nike and scepter; thunderbolt above, monogram to inner left, monogram below throne; AK (date) in exergue; all within wreath. Designated as a "money of the Bible" issue, this silver piece emanates from Roman Syria where the coinage of Philip Philadelphos was continued, but with a dating system that correlated to Octavian, who would shortly thereafter take the name of Augustus.
