PAMPHYLIA. Aspendos. AR Stater (10.92 gms), ca. 465-430 B.C. NGC EF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 4/5.
SNG Cop-175 var. (ivy leaf on obverse). Obverse: Warrior advancing right, holding shield and spear; Reverse: Triskeles; EΣ above; all within incuse square. Generally encountered fairly crude, this example offers a full, round flan and a solid, well centered strike overall. Quite brilliant and bright, with little actually handling noted.
