BMC-3. Obverse: Laureate head of Apollo right; Reverse: Apollo Grynios standing right, holding branch and phiale; monogram to left, omphalos and amphora at feet; all within laurel wreath. Always a popular type on account of its rather spread, elegant design on a broad flan, this example exhibits great centering and a subtle tone, all while also offering a good deal of lustrous brilliance remaining.
