So-Called Dollars
1826 Erie Canal Completion, HK-1, Rarity-6, white metal, Mint State, Environmental Damage, with original round wooden container made by Duncan Phyfe with original wood from the Seneca Chief.
The medal is uniformly dark steel-gray with a rough texture to explain our qualifier. The case is quite tattered, the base with the original paper inset present and fully legible, but the edge of the base extensively chipped and the entirety of the wood warped and slightly bent. The lid of the case is broken and missing about a third of both the wood and the paper inset. (Total: 1 medal; 1 container)
