Walking Liberty Half Dollar
1919-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Unc Details--Harshly Cleaned (PCGS).
Wisps of iridescent copper-apricot drift across both sides, the toning more extensive on the reverse. Plenty of luster remains, although concentrations of faint hairlines explain the PCGS qualifier. A lower mintage (1,552,000 pieces) issue that saw extensive commercial use, even low-end Uncirculated coins are elusive in today's market. This more affordable example represents a significant find for the budget minded Walking Liberty half dollar enthusiast.
