Smartly impressed with sharp to full striking detail and appealing matte-like luster. This lovely piece is enhanced by wisps of golden-apricot and pale pink. From a mintage of 508,000 pieces, Mint State examples of which are far scarcer than the 1916 Philadelphia Mint issue (608,000 coins struck) since fewer of the San Francisco Mint half dollars were set aside at the time of issue.
