1921 U.S. Volunteer Life Saving Corps Three-Piece Hanging Badge for Non-Member Rescuer. Sterling Silver. Extremely Fine.

31 mm x 80 mm. A similar, yet somewhat less intricate badge than the others from this Corps that we are offering in this sale. At the top is a simple pinback hanger inscribed NON MEMBER / RESCUER with anchors at right and left. Suspended from that is a figural piece of a rescue team in a rowboat attending to a victim. The lowest part of the badge is comprised of the U.S. Volunteer Life Saving Corps logo, the back inscribed HENRY GREEN / NORTH RIVER / MAY 15 1927.
