Approximately 16.5 inches. Central circular panel featuring a portrait of Christopher Columbus, three-quarter to left, with panels around that illustrate his sighting of land, his arrival upon land and his return to the Spanish court. Above are scenes from the Columbian Exposition's White City, divided by an American flag and shield. The artist's signature is at the lower right, TONELLI / PARIS 1892. Mostly even chocolate-brown with a few small spots here and there. Sizable and attractive.
