"Fu xing she ji hui hao wen yin" (Fuxingshe Bank, remittance bank fine silver), Right: "Gong gu shang kan qi" (Checked by public assayer Shang), Left: "Guan gong gu she kan" (Inspected by official public assayer She). This charming example displays richly toned surfaces with minor earthen deposits in the protected areas of the deeply impressed stamps. The assay marks are nicely centered and bold with some of the characters somewhat obscured by debris, but are still easily read. This handsome survivor clearly sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed offering much originality sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
