An interesting issue, according to Pridmore, struck in the same fineness as Spanish Dollars (8 Reales) then in circulation of 891.66 fine silver. This nicely preserved and sharply struck example displays crisp frosted design features in contrast to the hard mirrored surfaces. An attractive representative of this seldom encountered proof version displaying accents of light tone offering a pleasing appearance sure to excite many collectors.
