Unadilla, New York. Unadilla Bank. 1850 $2. Very Good.

(NY-2765 G8b). American Bank Note Company, New York. Full red-brown tint, outlined dark TWO and 2 counters. Central vignette of drovers herding cattle. New York Bank die at right. Woman in oval at lower right. Some pinholes are rust are spotted. The only example that we have sold was an inferior, low grade $1 note that sold for $411.25 in our 2014 June Baltimore sale. A fully issued, late note from the bank which is rare.
