Counterstamps

S.M. TUXBURY counterstamped twice on a 1840s Braided Hair large cent that has had a silver wash applied. Brunk-Unlisted, Rulau-Unlisted. Host coin Fine.

Sterling M. Tuxbury (1857-1910) was a carpenter working in Detroit, MI from the late 1870s to 1910.
