Morgan Silver Dollar
1891 Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65+ (PCGS).
A vividly toned example with blended silver-apricot, reddish-rose and cobalt blue toning throughout the obverse, yet confined to the periphery on an otherwise brilliant reverse. Although not represented to any great extent in the Treasury Department silver dollar releases of 1962 to 1964, enough 1891 Morgan dollars had been dispersed during the 1950s that this issue is available in grades up to and including MS-64. Any finer and the 1891 is a noteworthy condition rarity. This beautiful coin will serve with distinction in an advanced Morgan dollar set.
