38 mm. 38.34 grams. Obv: Armored and draped bust of Philip left. Rev: Armored bust of Anna right, wearing ruffled collar. An interesting and engaging later cast of the original medal from ca. 1571, this pleasingly toned example offers great detail and bold relief. Some chasing is noted in the fields, and the edges have been worked a bit--aspects which are consistent with such casts. Quite RARE and highly attractive.
