S-140. Obverse: Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, holding globus cruciger and shield decorated with horseman motif; Reverse: Angel standing facing, holding globus cruciger and long staff surmounted by staurogram; star to right; ς//CONOB. Though exhibiting a slight shift doubling in strike, this shimmering Mint State example otherwise features nothing in the way of handling and exudes tremendous brilliance throughout.
