Obverse: LEOPOLDVS D G R I S A G H B REX, laureate, draped, and armored bust right; Reverse: ARCHIDV AVST DVX BV CO TYR, crowned coat-of-arms within Collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A seemingly UNIQUE specimen, this captivating piece features the dies of the 1/4 taler denomination yet a planchet in gold at the weight of 6 ducats. Undoubtedly, this represents a singular opportunity to acquire an oddity in a wholesome, problem-free state of preservation.
