S-32; ABC-2433; VA-1476-1. Early Whaddon Chase (Trinovantian D) type. Obverse: Wreath, cloak, and crescents; rounded wing motif above wreath; Reverse: Celticized horse right; wing motif and three pellets above, pellet and annulet below; all above ground line. Rather vibrant and shimmering, this example presents a much more intricate obverse than is generally encountered for the type. Quite SCARCE this attractive, and worthy of a solid bid.
