Lot of (15) Different 1880s Trade Cards of Various Ayer's and Brown’s Products. Extremely Fine (average condition).
Nine items in this lot are attractive multicolored trade cards extolling the miraculous virtues of products such as Ayer's Sarsaparilla, Ayers Cherry Pectorial, Ayers Hair Vigor and Ayer's Cathartic Pills. Six document Brown's Iron Bitters, which apparently could cure pretty much any medical problem you might have! Both Ayer's and Brown's were prolific issuers of encased postage stamps advertising these and similar products.
