Mercury Dime
1916-D Mercury Dime. AU-50 Details--Scratched (ANACS).
Boldly defined overall in the absence of all but light wear, flickers of original luster persist on both sides to further confirm the AU grade from ANACS. Brilliant on the obverse, a touch of iridescent golden toning enlivens the reverse. Otherwise free of mentionable marks, shallow scuffs in the lower left obverse and right reverse field areas explain the ANACS qualifier. The key date 1916-D is one of the most eagerly sought Mercury dimes at all levels of preservation.
