Liberty Cap Half Cent
1795 Liberty Cap Half Cent. C-1. Rarity-2. Lettered Edge, With Pole. VF-20 (PCGS).
A wholesome example for the grade, both sides are evenly patinated chocolate brown with minimal marks to overall smooth looking surfaces. A couple isolated areas of planchet roughness (as made) are noted on both sides, neither of which overly detract. Pleasing VF quality for this plentiful, yet conditionally challenging die marriage of the 1795 half cent.
