FRENCH INDO-CHINA. Aluminum Piastre Essai (Pattern), 1931. Paris Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-65 Gold Shield.
37mm. KM-EA26; Lec-311. An EXTREMELY RARE type, this pattern issue is reported by Lecompte to have a mintage of just 5 specimens. Though the number is clearly slightly higher-- as PCGS has graded 7 total --this no doubt is incredibly difficult to encounter, especially so frosted and shimmering.
