KM-517; AAH-55; HG-47. Type I, S.M. on reverse. The only mint state example of either type for this ruler listed on the NGC or PCGS population reports. VERY RARE and tough to locate in this grade. An outstanding representative of the type exhibiting a bold strike with smooth surfaces and crisp design elements. The lovely pervasive old cabinet tone offers much originality with rich coloration pleasing to the eye. A type that shows up in the marketplace with much frequency in lower conditions, but seldom appears in such a lofty near GEM grade and as such should command a premium.
