KM-2; Prid-2. Raised crowned script "GR" within oval indent on an 1818-MoJJ Mexico bust 8 Reales of Ferdinand VII. The countermark was unevenly applied lacking part of the "R" on the right side. A moderately worn and handsome example of this popular countermark type with rich slate gray patina throughout offering much originality.
