Description

BURMA. Currency Board. 10 Rupees, ND (1947). P-32. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.

Larger size King George VI in full face profile at right on front. This original issued Indian P-24 with red overprinted text "Burma Currency Board Legal Tender in Burma Only". Signature Deshmukh. Prefix J/46. Minor sign of circulation, tiny rust spots around staple holes likely preventing the Gem UNC with EPQ designation. For accuracy PMG comments "Staple Holes at Issue, Minor Rust.". Tied with 20 other in this grading, only two graded higher out of currently 83 listed on the population report. Phenomenal opportunity.

Estimate:$250.00 - $300.00
