(S/M# C293-2b) Peking. This treasure exhibits true visual quality and currently sits alone atop the PMG population report. This rare Tael issue note is one of only a few we have handled for the catalog number in recent memory. It features a deep blue frame and orange under-printing with red protectors. There are strong overprints in both the serial numbers and signature. The back has a black circular seal at upper center and similar styling as the face. This example will certainly enhance any comprehensive collection of Chinese banknotes. "Minor Ink" at the top margin is mentioned, with the operative term being minor.

北京。此張珍品極為漂亮，是PMG評鑒中的冠軍分。罕有的壹兩票，印象中我們只經手過幾張而已。深藍色票框橘色底印，紅色行徽。兩面的序號及簽名處印墨均十分深刻。反面中央上方有黑色圓形圖章，正面設計亦類似。能完善中國紙幣集藏的一張佳品，評級標示上方邊緣有"輕微油墨"，但著實不顯眼。 On September 1, 2019, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector's items manufactured in China.
