MS63 | Australia, George V (1910-36), gold Sovereign, 1918, Sydney Mint, bare head left, B.M. on truncation for Bertram Mackennal, GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:, rev. St. George and dragon right, WWP under lance, date in exergue B.P. to upper right of exergue for designer Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled, 7.98g (Marsh 278; S.4003). Minimal wear with good residual mint lustre, graded by NGC as MS63.

NGC Certification 6066373-082.

Calendar Year Mintage 3,716,000.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as “George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India”.
