MS64 | George V (1910-36), gold Sovereign, 1912, bare head left, B.M. on truncation for Bertram Mackennal, GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:, rev. St. George and dragon right, WWP under lance, date in exergue B.P. to upper right of exergue for designer Benedetto Pistrucci, edge milled, 7.98g (Marsh 214; S.3996). Minimal wear with residual mint lustre, graded by NGC as MS64.

NGC Certification 6066376-088.

Calendar Year Mintage 30,317,921.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as “George the Fifth by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India”.
