AU58 | Edward VII (1901-1910), gold Sovereign, 1905, bare head right, De S. below truncation for engraver George W De Saulles, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP:, rev. St. George slaying the dragon with sword, broken lance to lower left, edge milled, (Marsh 177; S.3969). Lustrous example especially on obverse, graded by NGC as AU58.

NGC Certification 6321055-003.

Calendar Year Mintage 5,910,403.

The Latin legend on obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India".
