PF69 UCAM | Elizabeth II (1952 -), gold proof Two Pounds, 2001, struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Marconi’s first wireless transmission across the Atlantic, crowned head right, IRB initials below for designer Ian Rank-Broadley, Latin legend and pellet border surrounding, ELIZABETH. II. DEI. GRA. REG. FID. DEF, rev. decorative radio waves emanating from a spark of electricity with date 2001, r.e. initials for designer Robert Evans, edge inscribed “WIRELESS BRIDGES THE ATLANTIC MARCONI 1901”, 15.97g (S.K11). Brilliant and as struck, accompanied by Royal Mint box and certificate of authenticity, graded by NGC as PF69 Ultra Cameo.
