Victoria (1837-1901), gold Five Pounds, 1887, Jubilee type crowned bust left, J.E.B. initials on truncation for engraver Joseph Edgar Boehm, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, rev. St. George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, 39.99g (Schneider 653; S.3864). Prooflike reflectivity to the fields, numerous small bagmarks as usual for type with a cut on Victoria’s cheek, otherwise extremely fine.

Calendar year mintage of 53,844.
