D;G; MA; BRI; FRA; ET. HI; REX, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, I to left, R to right, legend surrounding, FACIAM. EOS. IN. GENTEM. VNAM., 9.95g (Schneider 27; N.2084; S.2619). Slightly wavy flan as-made with some metal flaws in the field, otherwise fully original surfaces, a pleasing very fine.
The obverse legend of this piece is unusual for commencing with a semi-colon.
