Description
MESOPOTAMIA. Carrhae. Caracalla, 198-217. Ae (bronze, 3.27 g, 18 mm). Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust left. Rev. Diademed and draped bust of the moon god Sin right set on crescent, with crescent on forehead. Cf. BMC 8 var (bust right, laureate). Very fine. Very rare.
