PALMYRENE. Palmyra (?). Pseudo-autonomous issue, circa 2nd-early 3rd centuries AD. Ae (bronze, 0.80 g, 11 mm). Draped bust of Athena or Roma to right, wearing crested helmet. Rev. Ram leaping left, head to right and raising forepaw; to upper right, crescent. Unpublished; cf Leu 18, lot 2203. Very fine. Extremely rare.
