INDO-SKYTHIANS. Azes, circa 58-12 BC. Ae tetradrachm (bronze, 14.51 g, 27 mm). BAΣIΛEΩΣ BAΣIΛEΩN MEΓAΛOY AZOY Bull standing right; monogram above; Shi to lower right. Rev. 'Maharajasa rajadhirajasa mahatasa Ayasa', Lion standing right, head to left; above, monogram. HGC 12, 657. Very fine.
