Description
Western Pomerania under Sweden, Charles XI, 1/48 Thaler Stettin 1691 ILA - VERY RARE, countermark of Stettin Rare 1/48 thaler coin from the period of the Swedish occupation of Western Pomerania. With countermaked of Sttettin on the reverse (countermak in the form of crown, Ahlström type D). Countermarks were minted in the 1690s on specimens with a high silver content. Variety with the initials ILA under the Griffin. Rzadka moneta o nominale 1/48 talara z okresu szwedzkiej okupacji Pomorza Zachodniego. Z kontramarką miasta Szczecina nabitą na rewersie (kontramarka postaci korony, Ahlström typ D). Kontramarki wybijane były w latach 90. XVII wieku na egzemplarzach z dużą zawartością srebra. Odmiana z inicjałami ILA pod Gryfem. Reference: Ahlström 193, Kopicki 9784 (R1)
