Solidus 420-421. No officina letter. Obv. AEL PVLCH ERIA AVG Draped and cuirassed bust with pearl diadem to r., manus dei with wreath above. Rev. VOT XX - MVLT XXX Victory standing to l. holding large, long and wide cross. CONOB in exergue. RIC 220. Kent, J. P. C. Auream monetam...cum signo crucis, NC 1960, pl. 9, 3. LRC 437 var. 4.43 g. Very rare, especially in this quality. Splendid specimen. Well centred and bold. About uncirculated. Ex Auction Frank Sternberg X, Zurich, Nov. 1980. Lot 632. F. Sternberg wrote "This specimen with the very large, finely cut cross containing a single pellet in its middle, shows clearly that in fact the cross is the main theme of the reverse depiction. The victorious angel is only an accompaniement to the "victorious cross".
