The Mother of God seated on a backless throne, and holding The Holy Infant, sigla on either side: MP-[..], + ΘΚЄROHΘ,Iω[..]APXH(sic)MЄΓAΛωXAPTOV circular inscription beginning at twelve o'clock, all within double border of dots / Nimbate facing bust of Saint George, holding a spear over his right shoulder, and resting a shield on his left arm, OA(ligate)ΓЄ in three lines to left, ωPΓ[..] in three or four lines to right, + KPITHTOVRHΛOVKAITωNΘPAKHCIωN circular inscription beginning at twelve o'clock, all within double border of dots. Translation: Mother of God, help John the grand chartoularios, judge of the Velum and of the Thrakesioi.
