Illegible inscription. Laureate head right / [Θ]OVΡIA-[TΩN], Zeus standing facing, head to left, extending right hand (or holding eagle) and holding scepter with left hand, Λ-A across fields.

Cf. BCD Peloponnesos 830.2 (Zeus extending right arm); cf. CNG, E-Auction 369, Lot 391 (Zeus holding eagle).

Ex BCD Collection. The letters Λ-Α or reverse prove that in the time of Severus and his family Thuria formed part of Laconia.
