Central Europe, the Boii AV Stater. Precursor to the Muschel Type. Circa 2nd - 1st century BC. Indistinct globular design / Irregular concave surface with bulge to one side. Cf. Paulsen pl. 13, 283 ff.; Lanz 48 (this coin). 7.33g, 18mm.
Near Mint State. Extremely Rare.
