Description

Bruttium, Kroton AR Stater. Circa 425-350 BC. Eagle standing to left, wings spread and head lowered, on serpent below / Tripod with high neck surmounted by wreaths, legs terminating in lion's feet; ivy leaf to left, ϘPO upwards to right. HN Italy 2152; SNG ANS 348 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 1782 (same rev. die). 7.71g, 22mm, 7h.

Extremely Fine; beautiful, deep iridescent cabinet tone. Very Rare.
