Kingdom of Axum, Nezana (Nezool) Gilt AR Unit. Circa AD 480-500. NEZA NABA ("King Nezana"), draped bust to right, wearing headcloth; Ge'ez monogram NZWL ("Nezool") above / ΘEOVXΛPI ("the grace of God"), double-lined cross. Hahn & Keck 55.13 (this coin); SACAM 327-30; H 40; AC 80; Vaccaro 48. 1.19g, 16mm, 9h.

Very Fine; well-preserved rev. cross gold inlay. Very Rare; seemingly only two other examples offered at auction in the past 20 years.
