Description

Attica, Athens AR Tetradrachm. Circa 470-465 BC. Archaic head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with dot pattern / Owl standing three-quarters to right, head facing, olive sprig behind; ΑΘΕ before, all within incuse square. Starr Group II.C, cf. 63; Seltman Group N; HGC 4, 1593. 17.16g, 24mm, 3h.
