Description

Elis, Olympia AR Stater. Hera mint, 111th Olympiad = 336 BC. Head of Hera to right, wearing pendant earring and stephane inscribed [FAΛEIΩN]; F behind neck / Eagle standing to left on base with open wings and head reverted to right; all in olive wreath within shallow circular incuse. BCD Olympia 160 (same obv. die); HGC 5, 396. 11.58g, 24mm, 4h.

Near Very Fine; somewhat porous. Very Rare.
