Sicily, Syracuse AR 16 Litrai. Philistis, wife of Hieron II, circa 216-215 BC. Diademed and veiled head of Philistis to left, wreath behind / Nike driving slow quadriga to right; ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΑΣ above, ΦΙΛΙΣΤΙΔΟΣ below. CCO 184.4 (this coin); SNG ANS 869; HGC 2, 1556. 14.05g, 28mm, 1h.

Extremely Fine; engraved in refined and sensitive style.
