Solid nineteenth-century binding in half green leather, nerve back with gold titles and threads. A signature of the twentieth-century possession at the end and a label that testifies to the nineteenth-century owner of the volume: Conte Paolo Vimercati-Sozzi. Specimen in excellent condition. The last (white) card is missing. Fourth (?) Edition of this work which appeared in the original in 1559, but which in subsequent editions, including the present one, was greatly enlarged and enriched. Cfr.
