BYZANTINE EMPIRE; Heraclius and Heraclius Constantine. 632-641 AD. Gold Solidus (4.36 gm; 20 mm). Constantinopolis mint. Struck circa 632-635 AD. Heraclius, in centre, Heraclius Constantine on right and Heraclonas on left, standing facing, each wearing chlamys and globus cruciger; in upper field left, cross / VICTORIA – AVG×S Cross potent on four steps; in field right, monogram of Heraclius. In exergue, CONOB. DO 33d; MIB 39; Sear 758. NGC-MS (Strike 5/5; Surface 3/5). Certificate # 6290961-005. Clipped. Brushed. Fully lustrous.
