LUCANIA, Metapontion. Ca. 300-250 BC. Æ (2.78 gm; 15 mm). Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin. Rev: META. Barley corn, torch on outer right field. Johnston Bronze 52; SNG ANS 569-70; HN Italy 1688; HGC 1, 1124. Well struck on a nice flan. Choice aEF. Original brown reddish and green patina.
