Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, GDH formula behind the crown, Pahlavi phrase "APZUTI" in front of face, reverse, Byzantine or Khalif style figure facing forward, phrase to the right not legible, phrase to the left per Gyselen is LWBK or Rayej (in circulation). It is also possible for it to be the term "Zuzan" either meaning drachm (per Album) or mint place as City of Zuzan (per Mochiri) in Sakastan/Afghanistan border. Gyselen type 84-1. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Reddish patina. Choice Good VF. Extremely rare.
