SASANIAN KINGS, Kavad I, first reign. 488-497 AD. AR Obol (0.44 gm; 12 mm). Standard issue, reverse, mint "AS" (Asuristan, Aspanvar, Aspahan), no date. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice EF. Nice original find patina. Extremely rare.
